Enjoy this comprehensive 2-day shared-group tour covering all the major highlights of St. Petersburg including the Faberge Museum. Russian Visa is not required on this visa-free shore excursion. Tour includes driver and guide, entrance fees and lunch on day 1 and numbers are limited to ensure the best experience.Your tour guide will meet you in the arrival hall of the cruise terminal just past passport control. After checking in, sit comfortable in an air-conditioned Mercedes mini-bus. Once everyone has joined the group, your two day discovery of St. Petersburg will begin. Waiting time for passengers is limited to 30 minutes after scheduled tour's departure time.
Day 1:
Between 8am - 8:15am, meet your guide and driver by the ship and begin a city discovery with a photo stop at the Church on the Spilled Blood. Afterwards, depart for Pushkin/Tsarskoye Selo to enjoy a tour of Catherine's Palace with its famous Amber Room and Park. The palace tour will take approximately 1-hour. In the latter part of the morning, drive to Peterhof also known as The Kingdom of Fountains.Here, you will explore the wonderful gardens and enjoy lunch (included) in the park's cafe. After lunch, return to St. Petersburg on a 40-minute hydrofoil ride on the Gulf of Finland. Upon arrival to the marina, meet your minibus and head to Faberge Museum where you will see highlights of more than 4,000 works including the famous Imperial Easter eggs. At around 6pm, you will return to your ship.
Day 2:
Meet your guide and driver at 9am outside your ship. Take a short drive to the Hermitage Museum. Upon arrival, enjoy a tour of the museum complexes including the Winter Palace. In the early afternoon, there will be 1-hour free-time alotted for shopping or lunch in a local restaurant/cafe (meal at own expense). After lunch, continue the overview of St. Petersburg with several photo stops, a brief guided tour of Peter and Paul Fortress lasting approximately 30 to 40 minutes and a visit of St. Isaac's cathedral. At around 4pm, return to the ship.
