You may choose to relax on a boat or experience an exciting paddle on a sit-on-top kayak as you make your way to a bay abundant in sea turtles with a pristine beach.
If you select the "walking and snorkel tour" option, your guide will join you on a short boat ride, arriving at a landing and along a paved path to the beach. During the walk, you will learn about the history of the Virgin Islands as well as native flowers and plants along the way.
If you select the "kayak and snorkel" option, your guide will provide a kayak lesson and coach you along the way to a beautiful beach. Kayaking distance is approximately 1.5 miles each way (average time is 45 minutes including time for 3 breaks).
With either option, your next stop is a beautiful beach, where you will have an opportunity to take a break in a chaise lounge chair and have a cold beverage. After your beak, your guide will lead you to swim with sea turtles in their natural habitat. Watch them on the seabed eating turtle grass and get the opportunity to experience a close-up view when the turtles come up for air right next to you. Guests have seen multiple sea turtles on every tour, so it's not a matter of if, but when you see these amazing creatures up close!
Throughout the tour, your guide will have cold bottled water and will take pictures above and underwater. Lunch at a local and favorite beach side restaurant is included (gluten free and vegetarian options available). Menu choices include: sandwiches, chicken Caesar salad, fish tacos and burgers. Relax and enjoy the surf and beach for a while.
Kayakers will paddle back to the original beach where a driver will be waiting for your return transportation.
