The Mikhailovsky Theatre is one of the oldest theatres in Saint Petersburg. Situated in the city center in Art square the theatre represents a part of the astonishing historical and architectural assembly. It is considered one of the noblest theatres of opera and ballet in Saint Petersburg.
Alexandrinsky Theatre was the main Ballet stage of the Russian Empire before the Mariinsky (Kirov) theatre was built. In 2007 this historical 18th century building was restored and looks like it did in 1756.
Then it is time to admire one of the classical ballet performances: Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Romeo and Juliet or others on the outstanding ballet stages of the world famous Mariinsky, or Mikhailovsky, or Alexandrinsky or Hermitage Ballet theatre.
