After meeting your instructor, head to Le Galion Beach, where your lesson starts on dry land.
Stand-up paddleboards are both fun and offer a great workout, and it’s easier to get the hang of them than you may think. Learn SUP basics like where to stand on the board and how to measure the correct paddle length, and then enter the calm waters of the bay to give it your first shot.
Your lesson lasts 40 minutes, after which you can spend the rest of your time paddling around the bay on your own. If you want to rest, just sit down on your board (don’t drop your paddle!) and soak up the sun while you float.
