This small-group shore excursion is limited to 20 passengers, providing you with personalized attention from an experienced crew.When your cruise ship docks in St Maarten, head to the St Maarten Yacht Club Bar and Restaurant by taxi (a 15-minute ride from the cruise terminal) to meet your expert crew, who will show you to Passaat, a historical 100-foot (30-meter) sailing schooner built in 1911. Hop aboard, make yourself comfortable and set sail on your relaxing cruise along St Maarten’s gorgeous coastline!
While you’re soaking up the sunshine and admiring the Caribbean views, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the small-group setting and snack on a homemade treat like banana bread or coconut cake with fresh tropical fruit. The open bar is available throughout your ride with a choice of wine, beer, rum punch, soda or juice.
You’ll be lulled into a wonderful state of relaxation as you listen to the wind in the sails and the water lapping against the hull as you head to Long Bay in St Martin, one of the quietest and calmest snorkeling areas on the French side of the island. Jump into the crystal-clear water and snorkel around this beautiful bay with the provided snorkeling gear.
Back on board, your gourmet Caribbean lunch is served at a shaded table on the foredeck. Choose between mahi-mahi and chicken filet, each accompanied by mango sauce, salad, rice, plantains and bread. (A vegetarian option is available upon request in advance.)
After lunch, snooze on the aft deck as your crew returns you to shore, where you can make your own way back to the cruise terminal to re-board your ship.
