When we arrive at the glacier Sólheimajökull you will go on a Glacier walk of between 2 and 3 hours. You will have a chance to visit the famous volcano that erupted in 2010, Eyjafjallajökull . The glacier tongue Sólheimajökull is one of the most accessible glaciers in Iceland. It is part of the fourth largest glacier in Iceland, Mýrdalsjökull glacier, about 600 km2. Underneath the glacier lies the volcano Katla, one of the biggest volcanoes in Iceland.
You will be provided with all the professional accessories to walk on the mass of ice. You will be equipped with a safety helmet, crampons and an ice pick. Join us for this unique adventure and enjoy the ice part of the land of Ice and Fire.
We will stop and look at the magnificent waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss on the way to the Glacier.
