Get out on Lake Tahoe in your own speedboat! With a boat rental from South Lake Tahoe, you can explore the lake at your own pace, checking out popular attractions like Emerald Bay or Meeks Bay. Use the boat for water sports like wakeboarding or tubing; find a quiet cove and relax in the sunshine; or cruise to a lakeside restaurant for lunch! You can choose a rental period from one to three hours. Start your boating adventure at the rental office near the beach in South Lake Tahoe. After some instruction on how to operate the boat and a briefing on Lake Tahoe’s boating rules, hop in with your friends or family and set off!

You have one, two or three hours of rental time, depending on the option you select when booking. Cruise around the lake at your leisure, checking out Emerald Bay, Meeks Bay, Rubicon Point, Nevada Beach, Sand Harbor, Skunk Harbor, Crystal Bay or the many other beautiful coves, bays and beaches.

Maybe you want to make your way to one of the lake’s popular restaurants like the Beacon, Gar Woods, Sunnyside or Riva Grill. Or if it’s adrenaline-pumping adventure you’re after, use your boat for wakeboarding, tubing, waterskiing, knee-boarding or other water sports (if you don’t have your own equipment, you may rent gear, including wetsuits, at the rental office when you arrive).

At the end of your allotted rental time, just return the boat to the marina.

• The biggest option with an open bow and cockpit seating; features convenient rear-access storage trunks and an easy-to-board transom walk through
• 5-liter GXi, 270 horsepower; 21.5 feet (6.5 meters); seats 10
