The first stop is the Forbidden City, following by visiting the Tian'anmen Square. Ringed by a 52m-wide moat at the very heart of Beijing, the Forbidden City is China’s largest and best-preserved collection of ancient buildings, and the largest palace complex in the world. Walking around in the Forbidden City, and get ready to be amazed by all the architecture, there were in total of 24 emperors were living here to rule the whole China. Afterwards, you will be taken to Tian'anmen Square, as one of the top 10 largest square in the world, it is located in the middle of Beijing.
Then, you will head to the Temple of Heaven – the world’s largest temple and altar complex, highlighted by unique and intricate architectural designs dating back to the Ming dynasty. There is a fun fact of this attraction. If you see the Temple of Heaven from the above, the temple halls are round and the bases square, in accordance with the notion "Tianyuan Difang’, which means ‘Heaven is round, Earth is square’. This was from the traditional Chinese philosophy.
About lunch time, you will be able to have an authentic Chinese meal in a traditional Chinese restaurant.
Afterwards, your final destination is the largest imperial garden in the world: the Summer Palace. At here, you will see a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design. It was the playground for emperors fleeing the suffocating summer torpor of the old imperial city.
