Small-Group Tour: Full-Day Pamukkale Terraces and Hierapolis Ruins From Kusadasi or Selcuk

Take a full-day tour to Pamukkale, known for its unreal landscape featuring a series of terraced hot spring basins which look like snow and ice-covered cliffs due to calcium deposits. Enjoy the thermal waters while walking along the terrace cliffs with your bare feet. Explore Pamukkale's neighbour, the Hierapolis archaeological site, where you will see the remnants left behind from the Roman Empire including the Roman baths, Necropolis, Temple of Apollo and Antique Pool whose marble portico met its demise in an earthquake in 7 AD. Small-group tour is limited to no more than 14 people and includes hotel pickup, entrance fees to archaeological site and terraces, professional guide, buffet lunch and transport by Mercedes minibus.After meeting your driver and guide at your hotel in central Kusadasi or Selcuk between 8am - 8:30am, drive through countryside to Pamukkale known as the 'Cotton Palace.' The scenic drive takes approximately 3 hours. Upon arrival, enjoy a buffet lunch. Afterwards, proceed to Pamukkale and Hierapolis natural and archaeological site. Enjoy a walk walk along the terraces from the top of the calcium cliffs. Take photos of your experience in the best spots while walking through the travertine without shoes and socks. Later, head to the Hierapolis (ancient city) located next to Pamukklale to visit the Necropolis, Roman baths, Domitian Gate, Byzantium Gate, Apollo Temple, Plutonium (Pluto's Gate), Roman Theater and Antique Pool. If you are interested, there will be time to swim in the Antique Pool (entrance fee not included). At the end of the tour, you will be transported back to your hotel. Arrival will be around 7:30pm - 8pm.
