Pickup from your Cairns or Northern Beaches Hotel.You will be picked up from your Cairns or Northern Beaches accommodation from approximately 8:30am (depending on location). After pickup you will head south to Paronella Park where you will join your guide for a very informative tour of the grounds.
Paronella Park is a unique Eco-friendly experience where history and romance are as one. Paronella Park is a magical place nestled amongst heritage gardens and acres of Australian rainforest situated on the banks of Mena Creek, south of Innisfail. The ruins of the Spanish Castle feature prominently on the grounds of Paronella Park. Visitors can explore the architecturally unique ruins of the castle and buildings of yesteryear, or wander through the lush gardens and Australian Rainforest. Afterwards you will have private time to wander at your leisure.
Stop for lunch at Mena Creek Hotel, where you will have a choice of 5 dishes (including vegetarian) to choose from. Included is a beer, wine or soft drink.
Next is Mamu Tropical Skywalk which is located approximately 20-minutes from Paronella Park along the Palmerston Highway. The facility includes more than 1100-meter of walking tracks through rainforest, linking the 10-meter cantilever, 350-meter elevated walkway through the rainforest canopy and the 37-meter high observation tower. Here you will enjoy a 45-minute self guided audio tour.
