Start your tour with a ride in the Sky Safari gondola with scenic views over Sydney Harbour and a bird’s-eye view of orangutans as you skim across the canopy of a Southeast-Asian rainforest to the top entrance of Taronga Zoo.
Meet your Aboriginal guide and hear stories of the Cammeraigal people, and Cammeraigal country on which the zoo is set on. During Nura Diya, be entranced by the traditional Dreamtime stories of how the earth came to be created. These Dreamtime tales have been handed down over the millennia by the Aboriginal elders.
You’ll also see the animals that feature prominently in indigenous art, and be entertained by stories of Aboriginal song and dance as you enjoy an interactive experience with Australian wildlife, including koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and a vast array of birds.
