Spend 4-hours in the park exploring the 3 sisters, salt cavern, and even more.Begin your tour with a pick up from your San Pedro de Atacama accommodations around 4:00pm. The first stop will be a visit to Coyote or Stone Viewpoint, where you can attain a panoramic view of incredible rock formations. Next, continue on to where the Valley of Death is obtained. Walk approximately 30 minutes between eroded and red rock formations, all the while proceeding with care. Next, visit the 3 Marys, a formation in reference to 3 Christian women who came to the tomb of Jesus.
Afterwards, head to the salt cavern, where you will see pieces of rock salt and transparent precious crystal salt, produced by high ambient pressure without moisture. For your last stop, visit the Great Dune of the central crater or amphitheater to await the sunset. At times, the order of the places visited may vary, as well as the time, as the tour always concludes with a view of the sunset.
