Enjoy an unforgettable day in the picturesque countryside of Languedoc in the middle of vineyards and olive trees, two plants so closely linked to the culture and history of the region. During this tour you will visit 2 wineries and 1 traditional olive oil mill. Taste delicious products and enjoy a relaxing meal by the turquoise waters of a beautiful lake (in season and weather permitting) or in one of the area's excellent inns. Meet your guide at 9.30am on the Esplanade de l’Europe in Montpellier and take off in an air-conditioned minivan to visit the first winery in the famous Pic Saint-Loup area. You will learn all about the wine-making process and the history of the most ancient wine area of France. Your guide will teach you the basics of wine tasting before the first tasting of your day. Back to the minivan you will then be driven to a family-owned olive farm and its 16th century mill, where the owners have passed down their savoir-faire from generation to generation. Treat your taste buds while savoring delicious products such as olives, olive oils, vinegars, and their specialty, la farigoule, brimming with the flavors of the South of France!

You will then drive through the countryside and make a stop for pictures and the foot of the mountain. Enjoy a delicious French meal in a restaurant by the turquoise waters of a beautiful lake (in season and weather permitting) or in one of the area's excellent inns.

In the afternoon, visit château Puech-Haut, a prestigious winery of south of France, admire its original exhibition of painted oak barrel and taste its excellent range of wines. Return o Montpellier is planned around 4.30pm
