Then you will be driven in the new Mercedes Class V Minivan to the Montagne de Reims where Masterclass Champagne in a restored Champagne House in Mareuil-sur-Ay tasting 3 different producers and grape varieties after an introduction to Champagne and its aromas.
Afterwards, your guide will take you to the Marne Valley including a stop to Hautvillers, cradle of champagne, where Dom Perignon lived for 47 years. You will visit the famous church and enjoy one of the nicest panoramic view on the vineyards.
You will then visit a Champagne boutique winery (independent producer called "Récoltant Manipulant"), selected for the quality of its work, hosting and another tasting there.
You will improve your knowledge on vinification and champagne tasting through the visits and the guide experience.
Finally, your guide will drop off you at your place of stay or departure around 1 pm.
We will then drive you to the vineyards to discover the village of Hautvillers where Dom Pérignon used to live.
