Today you will learn the art of Vietnamese cooking and hopefully bring back home some new skills to delight your family and friends. We will take some time to guide you through the whole process that includes not only cooking itself but also sourcing the right ingredients while enjoying some relaxing time. To tour runs for a total of about 5 hours, including a brief market and town tour, the actual cooking class, and the dining sections. Each dish is first demonstrated by a local chefs, before we prepare the same dish ourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration). After the lesson, it is time for lunch and to eat exactly what we have cooked!

This is also a good opportunity for you to learn about vegetables, herbs and spices used in Vietnamese cuisine in general, and those you will be using later in the day in particular.
After we completed our purchases for our upcoming cooking lessons, we board a boat at the Bach Dang dock and have a leisurely boat ride along the Hoi An river to the Red Bridge Restaurant located on the river bank and set on 2 acres of stunning tropical gardens with three open-air pavilion-style buildings. The stylish Red Bridge Restaurant is ideal for a relaxed meal or casual function. Traditional and contemporary Vietnamese food, friendly staff, and enthusiastic chefs have made Red Bridge a popular stop for visitors to Hoi An.
Explore the cooking school's herb garden as you are learning more facts about Vietnamese popular dishes. Your instructor chef and you will use the fresh herbs you collected, seafood from the nearby sea, and fruit and vegetables from local farmers to deliver fresh and crispy flavors to your dishes. A great lunch will be served from the dishes that your chef and you have just cooked. The restaurant's swimming pool is conveniently nearby for a refreshing splash.
Upon your return back to your hotel you will have plenty of memories and menus with you to bring back home and start surprising your family and friends with your newly-taught skills. This half-day exploration to understand more about the Vietnamese kitchen will take approximately 6 hours and we will bring you back to your hotel well after lunch time.
