Discover Provence, its Roman masterpieces and the places which have inspired the famous painter Van Gogh. Visit Saint Paul de Mausole, Les Baux de Provence and Arles.
Your first stop will be the Saint Paul asylum in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, the famous psychiatric hospital where Van Gogh spent one year - the area surrounding the hospital inspired him to many of his masterpieces. Just a few minutes walk you will admire some of the best-preserved Roman monuments of the 1st century B.C.
Next, travel to Les-Baux-de-Provence, and have a walk in one of the most beautiful French villages nestling high up in the beautiful scenery of the Alpilles.
Afterwards, enjoy strolling through the streets of Arles, source of inspiration for many artists and wonderful testimony of over 2000 years of history (with its picturesque Provencal market on Wednesdays and Saturdays).
