Start your journey by visiting the 250 year old Benedictine Abbey Church of St. Marinus & Anianus which is located close to Wieskirche, one of the finest and purest Rococo churches in Bavaria.
Continue on to the medieval town of Wasserburg Am Inn, located on a peninsula and is surrounded by the river “Inn”. During your visit, you will experience all the town's charm. There is a lot to admire and to discover; the pastel-colored walls, bay windows, battlements, the medieval gate and plenty of hidden gems. Explore the streets and savor a delicious lunch before you are driven to Prien am Chiemsee.
After arriving in Prien am Chiemsee you will take a boat to Herreninsel, the largest island of Lake Chiemsee. Continue on to explore the Herrenchiemsee Palace and Park, either by horse drawn carriage or by foot (15 min.). The palace was built by King Ludwig II. as a copy of Versailles and is admired as one of the main attractions of Germany.
