Experience the look, feel and process of making beer in a large brewery in and around Cape Town, including one of the largest breweries in the suburb of Newlands, during this 8-hour brewery tour. Have lunch at the famous landmark, Foresters Arms, and do a beer tasting in their private tasting room. Closer to the CBD, visit two smaller micro breweries. See how a micro brewery works and enjoy a beer and food pairing.The tour will start at 9:00am with a pickup from your CBD hotel or guest house and head toward the leafy suburb of Newlands, where you will experience the look, feel and process of making beer in the large brewery. You will be tasting some of those beers before heading toward the Newlands Spring to sample the natural spring water. From there, the tour heads to Foresters Arms where you will be tasting some interesting beers in a private setting before enjoying lunch in their traditional pub.
After lunch, head toward Woodstock Brewery for a short tour of the micro brewery and taste four of their brews.
Devils Peak Brewery will be the last stop on the tour, where you will have the opportunity to do a beer and food pairing. You should be back in the CBD at approximately 5:00pm. You will be taken back to your hotel or guest house in the CBD.
