This tour will pick you up from your central Prague hotel in the morning and will bring you to the tour starting point to meet your guide and for an overview on the day tour ahead of you. Your guide will also assist you adjusting your bike.
Once you started your 32km (20 miles) bike tour to Karlstejn, you will take a special cycle path after the first two kilometers leading you along the beautiful river banks of Vltava river and later Berounka river. Cycling through the Czech countryside with its picturesque villages, there will be plenty of great photo opportunities along the way as well as stops for refreshments. A must-see is Dobrichovice Castle with its richly decorated restaurant on the first floor, where the tour will stop for a short break. From here it is only 9km to Karlstejn village.
Once the tour arrives in the village of Karlstejn, bikes will be parked close to the train station where the group will stop at restaurant. Your bike tour ends here and tour and you will have free time in the afternoon to explore the splendid village of Karlstejn with its many shops and entertainment possibilities as well as to enjoy a visit to the famous Gothic Karlstejn Castle (on your own). Karlstejn is surrounded by many hiking tracks, which also make for a great afternoon activity after your bike ride. Spend as much time as you like in Karlstejn village and return to Prague by train when you're ready. Your return train to Prague leaves every 30 minutes.
