Starting at La Concorde you will drive by L’Orangerie to reach Opera Garnier and go through the Place Vendôme, the Palais Royal and the Louvre where you will admire the Great Glass Pyramid designed by Chinese architect Ieoh Ming Pei in 1989.
Next, your visit will take you along the Tuileries garden and the Seine river. You will admire the Pont des Arts, the Conciergerie (former royal palace and prison), the Sainte-Chapelle and the ever-famous Notre Dame cathedral, inspiration to Hugo’s “Hunchback of Notre-Dame”. On the left bank, you will find the Latin quarter, home to artists, writers, philosophers and students, the Sorbonne university, the Pantheon and the Luxembourg garden.
Lunch Break if Full Day tour:Time for some lunch on one of the bateaux in the river, great stained-glass boats that glide slowly on the Seine. Accompanied by live entertainment, enjoy fresh food while gazing at the monuments from a different angle. Louvre visit: skip the long lines at the most famous and visited museum of the world.
