Choose from one of three morning start times, and then make your way to the Berlin TV Tower. Hand in your voucher at the gift shop, and follow your host to security. Then, take the tower’s high-speed elevator and, in roughly 40 seconds, ascend some 666 feet (203 meters) to Sphere, the revolving restaurant one floor above the observation deck.
Take a seat at your window table and soak up the views over the city as the restaurant slowly rotates around the tower. On a clear day, the views are impressive and the Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor), Charlottenburg Palace (Schloss Charlottenburg), Potsdamer Platz and the Reichstag parliament building are just a handful of the world-class sights you may see.
If the views are a feast for your eyes, then the TV tower’s breakfast is a feast for your belly. Dine on a VIP menu that features a smoked fillet of pork, marinated salmon, North Sea crab and cheese. Continental breakfast staples of bread rolls and a croissant are also included, along with preserves and fresh fruit. Unlimited coffee (latte, cappuccino, espresso and more) plus a glass of fresh orange juice and the all-important glass of Champagne complete the meal.
