Soak in one of 16 natural mineral water pools of varying temperatures, or try out the fresh water family pool with attached jetted spa and cascading waterfall. Let iron-rich hot springs geothermally heated from deep within the earth wash away your worries and rejuvenate your mind and spirit.
The Iron Mountain Hot Springs are fed by a natural, geothermal spring with an average temperature of 120 degrees Fahrenheit. With more than 14 different mineral compounds found in an analysis of the soothing waters, these pools offer you the perfect place by the Colorado River to sit back, forget your troubles and enjoy yourself.
Your day at the hot springs begins at the luxury bathhouse where you can purchase gifts and stock up on amenities while you change and secure your valuables in one of the abundant coin operated lockers available at the facility. After changing, enter the pools where you will have a choice of more than sixteen different pools of varying temperatures. Try the family pool, a 100,000 gallon, 70 x 35 ft. hot tub heated to approximately 95 degrees, if you want to soak with the whole family. Try the smaller, elevated hot tub, perfect for adults wishing to supervise their children while still enjoying themselves, that’s heated to over 100 degrees and includes a small, cascading waterfall. You have more than 16 pools to choose from, each connected by heated walk-ways, including 8 natural pools filled with iron-rich waters.
If you get hungry, try the Sopris Café, where you can grab a salad or a small pizza and purchase a glass of wine or bottle of beer. When you are appropriately wrinkled and ready to go, return to the locker room for a quick shower and change before heading back out into the real world, thoroughly relaxed and completely satisfied.
