If you want to learn more about Tuscany's wines, join us for the extremely interesting afternoon wine tasting session and taste the typical wines from the most famous regions around Tuscany.
We will pop open some great Tuscan wines from small and excellent wineries around Tuscany, illustrating the native grape varietals, and especially examples of Sangiovese in different denominations and of different vintages. As for example how Chiantis will differ from Chianti Classico and how the latter will differ from a DOC or DOCG wine from Montepulciano and then again to compare with the typical wines from Montalcino such as the Brunello. We'll make sure to open wines of different levels, so every tasting we put in at least one very important wine as Brunello di Montalcino.

The Tuscan Wines class takes place in our wine school where you will be seated in our lovely wine tasting room with glasses in front of you and a mat with notes that you can add your own to and keep for reference after your class. With visual aid, our wine prof who's a professional sommelier will give you a clear idea of the Tuscan wine making history, its appellations and traditions. You will also learn about the Tuscan wine making regions, about the climate and terroir of the different areas. Finally, you will get to know the most important grapes of the area, and how they can express themselves differently in each territory.
