Cycle on unpaved paths in the picturesque countryside on this half-day bike tour from Siem Reap. An informative guide takes you beyond the temples of Angkor on a mostly flat 18-mile (30-km) ride through rice fields and small villages, with plenty of stops to learn about daily life. You’ll get a glimpse of Cambodia that tourists don’t often see, and sample local snacks along the way. Numbers are limited to 14 participants.
Start your half-day tour at a bike shop in central Siem Reap, where you’re fitted with a mountain bike and helmet. Then, set off with your group and follow your guide on a paved road alongside the Siem Reap River.

Soon leave the tarmac behind, pedaling down small dirt paths through the scenic countryside to nearby villages. Expect friendly greetings from locals as they go about their daily activities such as rice farming, palm wine and sugar production, and basket weaving.

En route, stop to sample snacks (fruit and bottled water are also provided throughout the tour) and chat with your guide about rural Cambodian life. Then hop back on your bicycle and ride along more village roads, returning to the bike shop in Siem Reap around midday.
Please note: This bike tour covers a distance of approximately 18 miles (30 km). The ride is mostly on flat paths and small roads without hills, with some small dirt trails unsuitable for beginning riders.
