Visit Sian Kaan Biosphere Reserve in the Mayan Riviera and admire the views and unique wildlife. You will enjoy a boat ride on the lake and also have a chance to go snorkeling.Y Sian Kaan is the place where heaven starts. A real paradise on earth. This tour has two parts. First, you will take a tour in a 4x4 or SUV vehicle through the dirt track that separates the Caribbean Sea from the lagoon and the mangroves of the Sian Kaan Reserve, to arrive to our pier, where we will board our boat.
Halfway there, you will stop at the Boca Paila bridge, where we will be able to watch the crocodiles in an area where the sea and the lagoon meet. Coconut trees, mangroves and the Caribbean coast will be our scenery during the tour through the strip of land to access Punta Allen.
The second part of the tour a 3-hour boat ride around Ascension Bay. In these 3 hours of sea crossing, you will be able to watch dolphins, sea turtles, various types of birds such as roseate spoonbills, cormorants, frigate birds, pelicans and ospreys in their natural habitat. We will also visit and get to know the different types of mangroves that exist in the reserve, and appreciate several nests of termites.
After all this contact with nature, you will snorkel in the barrier reef and relax in a natural pool, before you go to lunch at the restaurant.
