The tour returns towards Tauranga with time and weather permitting we head up to the Minden Lookout for an overview of the Coastal Bay of Plenty. On a fine day, White island, an active volcano, can be seen from the lookout. The tour travels on to the prestigious family-owned Mills Reef Winery for lunch (not included in price) and a wine presentation & tasting.
The day concludes with a cocktail and dessert at one of Tauranga's top restaurants overlooking the harbor, before returning ship-side via what we claim is the best beach in the Southern Hemisphere.
The tour cost covers transport, presentations, tastings and dessert. It does not cover the cost of lunch at Mills Reef, where clients usually have just one course, as a dessert is provided at the next stop.
