You will see the historic, hand-cranked swing bridge over Haulover Creek, that divides the city’s northern and southern sections. You will be able to see the shopping district, have some landmarks like the St. John’s Anglican Church pointed out along with other colonial building and places of interest before you head to Altun-ha. The 1-hour drive to Altun-Ha is a guided tour about the culture, flora and fauna of Belize as we pass through a few of the rural Creole villages.

Located in the Belize District about 31 miles north of Belize City and 6 miles from the Caribbean Sea. This archaeological site includes the masonry altar where explorers found one of the largest Maya carved jade artifacts. The two plazas with 13 temples create a park-like atmosphere. If you take the time and effort to climb to the top of the largest Temple in Altun Ha with 16 meter (54 ft) high, you'll discover an inspiring, breathtaking panoramic view of the entire site and the surrounding jungle.

Lunch is not included in the ticket but after the walk in the park you will have time to buy a local dish at a nearby restaurant and shop at the gift shops before we head back to the City. On the way back enjoy the local beer and sodas.
