In this tour, you will visit one of the traditional markets of Vietnam countryside and have the opportunity to visit a Vietnamese rice paper making village, Long Phuoc Tunnel, orchards and the Bung Bac tourism area.About 9am, a bus will transfer you to Hoa Long Market - traditional market of Vietnam countryside - we will have 30 minutes to visit the market and learn customs and practices of the market. Most of products sold here are cultivated and raised at the locality.
You will visit a long established traditional Rice Paper Making Family - where you are guided to make rice paper and enjoy (free) products made by yourself.
Continue to visit Long Phuoc Tunnel, a underground military base. Long Phuoc Tunnel is about 7km of Ba Ria, Long Phuoc tunnel likes a completely different space with bustle landscape of the crowded sea city. It is quiet and calm. Formed in 1948, the original tunnels are about 2-3m above the ground, the height of tunnel is about 1.6m and a width of about 0.7m. Many years later, the tunnel system has been extended by 3m in depth, 0.1m in width, 0.2m in height, and has more air vents, many other function tunnelscompared to the original tunnel. The total length of tunnel is nearly 1,200m, and the tunnel features a diversity of functional rooms such as the areas for food storage, rest, first aid, communication trenches, fortifications, ... all these areas are connected by the main road..
You do not need to waste time going far to enjoy the experience of catching crab, fish, Ba Ria had also orchards, fish ponds, lotus ponds like the Mekong Delta provinces.
Visit Bung Bac tourism area. When you arrive in this area, you will enjoy wearing Vietnamese black silk ensemble which is the typical costume of the Southern peasants of Vietnam, then you can pick fruits in the orchards, catch crab and fish by hand, row a boat to visit Lotus Lake. Have lunch, enjoy the rustic dishes prepared by the local people such as grilled fish, steamed chicken and hot pot soup, young jackfruit salad, banana rice paper, crab hot pot. Free lunch and beer (local alcohol is also free).
It takes about 45 minutes from Bung Bat to Phu My port by bus. Alpha Travel and you will leave Bung Bac at 2:15pm.
