At the end of Harbor Island we will turn into the area where the U.S. Navy trains dolphins and sea lions for undersea mine detection. We will also get a view of the America's Cub Harbor, where the America's Cup boats were kept during the competition in 1992. You will pass by the world famous Bali Hai restaurant and the beginning of Shelter Island. You will travel along the outside of Shelter Island and then turn into the back harbor of Shelter Island called La Playa.
In La Playa, you will see a beautiful view of the multi-million dollar homes that overlook the bay. You will also travel past the Shelter Island Resorts and Mega Yachts.
