Now you can experience close encounters with sharks, rays and a multitude of fish species at Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo by simply signing up for Shark Walker, our new dive experience.The experience will start when you enter the Dubai Aquarium which is situated in the Dubai Mall. You will then enter the backstage area of the attraction and will be given a safety briefing by a knowledgeable instructor who will take you through the various do's and don’ts of the experience. After you correctly mastered the hand signals you will proceed to change into your wet suits and set about putting your weighted belts on, this would help you sink to the bottom of the cage. You will be led to the Perspex cage with the instructor with you. Once you are in the water your helmets will be lowered into position and then the cage will submerge. As you descend, all the wonders of the aquarium came into view, manta rays as big as blankets glided past the cage effortlessly, fish of all shapes and sizes comes up to you for a closer look and sharks circled the cage. The helmets you had on will magnify everything you see. An amazing experience that is also safe for swimmers and non-swimmers alike.
