Come to Dorne and Meereen and explore the Water Gardens and the Daznak´s fighting pit! You will have access to a lot of information about the shooting of the TV series, gossips and stories about the crew in Seville.
This experience is a must for every Game of Thrones fan!The Alcazar in Sevilla has been the filming location for the southern of Westeros, the home of Prince Doran Martell and the fiery and vengeful Oberyn´s daughters. But is also a breathtaking monument, declared as UNESCO World Heritage, where you will admire beautiful and colourful ceramic tiles, outstanding plasterwork, golden intricate wooden ceilings, and delightful renaissance gardens with fountains, flowers, a maze and secret and romantic retreats. The TV show creators said that The Alcazar was so perfect for the show that it was as if someone in the past had designed it just for them to shoot Game of Thrones. The truth is that it was built by many monarchs across the centuries, from the Muslim rulers in the 9th century to the Christians, and even today it is the Royal residence in Seville, and the history of this place is almost as exciting as Game of Thrones, specially the Reign of Peter the First, also named The Cruel, or the Justice Maker.
After the Alcazar, you will arrive by train to Osuna, the location of the Danzak´s fighting pit in Meeren and a enjoy a themed Game of Thrones Meal. Osuna is an amazing town settled in the Guadalquivir Valley, with 3000 years of history and impressive monuments. Here, Daenerys Targaryen struggles to rule Meereen and to control her Dragons, and in the Bullring (the fighting pit) takes place one of the key scenes of the season involving nobles, slaves, and Dragons!
The series filming was a huge stir up in the quiet life of Osuna, and many of the locals shared with the actors and the team a lot of anecdotes. In the restaurant Casa Curro, the have designed a Special menu with different dishes named after the Houses or characters of the show, plus, you will eat where the cast of Game of Thrones did every day! (Please note that lunch is only included if option selected for full day tour).
After all of that you will return to Sevilla by train and finish the tour at the Plaza del Prado (one of the main squares of Seville's city centre).
