No matter what you are looking for in the Florida Keys, whether it is relaxing on the water or taking in the breathtaking views or snorkel the crystal Waters, Theater of the Sea’s Eco- adventure and Snorkel Cruise is a 4 hour boat tour that covers 13 miles on the Atlantic Ocean and Florida Bay. When visiting the Florida Keys most locals will tell you that in order to really experience the Florida Keys you have to be on or beneath the water. Serene, tranquil, and unspoiled, imagine the Keys as they used to be. Our 4-hour Adventure and Snorkel Cruise will take you back in time, to a place of Spanish pirates, Indian warriors, and English settlers.
What better way to kick back and relax on your vacation than taking a boat tour (up to 6 passengers) on Theater of the Sea’s Eco- adventure & Snorkel cruise and let an experienced captain (USCG certified) take you to the coral reef and guide you around the beautiful islands of Islamorada. The captain will explain the history and ecology of this beautiful area, as well as identify many types of marine life, heightening your awareness of our environment and all the species that share it. Snorkeling time is included, to explore our tranquil shallow water reef system.
Our 30.4ft “Parker” boat is very spacious, comfortable and perfect for relaxing snorkeling or cruising around the islands. A shaded Bimini top covers the entire center of the boat and offers a welcome relief from the hot Florida sun. There is plenty of cushioned seating with back support at the front and center.
Theater of the Sea provides a large cooler with ice to keep your drinks and snacks chilled. The trip starts by setting sail for the only living coral reef system in North America, after a short hop of 30 minutes and taking the days conditions into account the captain will put you on top of the best spots. You will have the chance to enter the turquoise waters and explore the magnificent sea gardens. The reef is home to more than 50 species of coral and almost 500 species of fish. (Snorkel gear is provided on the boat).
After the snorkeling the captain will set sail for the sightseeing part of the trip. The fabulous views and the cooling breeze make it the perfect year round Islamorada activity. During this eco tour, your captain and guide will share in-depth knowledge of this area’s flora and fauna in an effort to help you better understand and respect Florida’s marine ecology and native plant life.
