We will provide an overview of the Segway unit, fit you with a helmet and proceed with a training session that includes a safety video.
After you are proficient, we will get underway with the tour traveling through a rock quarry that helped build San Francisco, pointing out train stations that were once a part of the Ocean Shore Railroad and showing you the landing site of Gaspar De Portola (the founder and first governor of Alto California). This Spanish officer and his crew established San Diego and Monterey and was responsible for the discovery of the San Francisco Bay. You will see wild flora and fauna, and travel past some of the most spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean.
