Your guide is very knowledgeable about the smallest details not known to many other guides, like a beaver lodge -where beaver live, in Seattle. So no matter your route, your guide will surprise you with little secrets of Seattle and hidden gems.
- Stop 1, is at Gasworks Park, a 10 minute stop with a fantastic view across Lake Union of Seattle. The park itself is on the National Register of Historic Places. We then travel through quirky Fremont with loads of unique art, like a missile/rocket and the troll.
- Stop 2, after seeing Fishermen's Terminal is the Locks, you'll have 30 minutes to explore the dam, the glass-wall fish ladder and watch boats go through the locks. There are lots of Great Blue Herons here.
- Stop 3, after seeing the viewpoint of Puget Sound from Magnolia Bluff, is the Space Needle, a 10 minute stop for photos. It's easy to get here via the monorail later.
- Stop 4, 15 minutes in Historic Pioneer Square, and hear about United Parcel Service beginnings and see Waterfall Park, visit a glass-blowing studio, and learn about Seattle's early history in a grand 1890 setting.
- Stop 5, Pike Place Market. We offer you the choice to end the tour here or be taken back to your hotel/ B&B after our walking tour to share the foods, fragrances, and history of this remarkable farmers market in our downtown.
