Visit many historical sites on this tour including the amazing Stirling Castle, take in breathtaking views from the top of the William Wallace National Monument and take part in the 3D battle at the Bannockburn Visitor Centre (own expense and availability dependent).
Departing Edinburgh the tour will take in the gorgeous 12th century manor house Linlithgow Palace (Summer only) before visiting the supposed battlefield site of Falkirk where treachery was abound as William Wallace was allegedly betrayed. Moving onto the William Wallace National Monument, you can see many famous items on display here including the alleged sword that Wallace once used. You can climb atop the famous monument for glorious views of the valley and the next stop, the intimidating Stirling Castle. Built upon a volcanic rock, this structure has to be seen to be believed and you will gaze in awe at its sheer size and stature.
Heading onto the Bannockburn Visitor centre you can take in the 3D experience of the battle of Bannockburn (own expense) or just take a stroll around and look at the various items available to be viewed. Departing from the visitor centre the tour will make its final stop at the magnificent Dunfermline Abbey where Robert the Bruce was interred and his body still remains (own expense and availability dependent). The tour will then conclude back at the original departure point in Edinburgh.
