This is the place where Mr Ridley, or “Mad Ridley” found out ways to grow rubber plants in Asia. As a result Malaysia is today the world’s largest producer of rubber.
Today its known for it’s house-grown Orchid-hybrid-library, most recent addition to which are ‘Vanda Kwa Geok Choo’ and ‘Aranda Lee Kuan Yew’ to honour ‘Father of the Nation’.
