It takes place in Germany's first sand-theatre in the Admiralspalast Berlin.Sand-art or sand-painting is an extraordinary kind of performance art. The artist works on an illuminated table which has a glass cover. On the glass she draws pictures only with her hands and sand. These pictures develop in a flow and one picture merges into the next, thus creating an animation. 

In the show you will be carried away on an exiting journey through Germany's great capital. The Sand-artists, under the artistic direction of world-famous artist Natalya Netselya, have created a wonderful story drawn in sand. In impressive pictures, the artist narrates the eventful development of Berlin.

From a small village on the banks of the Spree to a modern metropolis, with its many wonders and little stories. Witness the story of the cute polar bear-baby Knut, Marlene Dietrich, the Berlinale and the Carneval of Cultures. The pricing only includes the ticket fare.
