Our walking tours will be the best miles you'll ever enjoy on foot! You'll experience the natural side of San Francisco, where the city meets the sea. We walk on easy coastal trails and footpaths that offer a true escape from the bustling city streets. We have three different tours:
Our four-hour Bridge to Beach walk begins with a short visit to Fort Point, a Civil War-era military fort located dramatically just under the Golden Gate Bridge. We then climb up to the Golden Gate Bridge Overlook for a unique view of one of the world's greatest landmarks. We follow a high bluff along the Coastal Trail, visiting pocket beaches, to hidden vantage points where you'll enjoy some of the finest views of the Bridge. Reaching nearly mile-long Baker Beach, we take a break for lunch then loop back via a higher trail for panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and the Marin Headlands. Transportation to starting/ending point are not provided. Bring your own lunch.
Our Sausalito to Golden Gate Bridge walk starts at the Sausalito ferry landing in the quaint, Mediterranean village of Sausalito. We walk along a stunning waterfront to Fort Baker and Horseshoe Cove before making a gradual ascent to a spectacular overlook just above the Golden Gate Bridge. Photographers will delight in the unique, panoramic views of the Bridge, San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate. Transportation to starting/ending point are not provided. Bring your own lunch.
Our Lands End walk, also four hours long, heads along the rugged northwestern shore of San Francisco and captures the very best of the Golden Gate's coastal scenery and nature. Starting from the Lands End Visitor Center, we descend to the ruins of Sutro Baths--a turn-of-century swimming palace--then up to Sutro Park for a panoramic view of long and broad Ocean Beach before heading out along woodsy Lands End for a loop walk along the coast, descending to beautiful Mile Rock Beach along the way. Transportation to starting/ending point are not provided. Bring your own lunch.
