Enjoy a genuine samurai experience by way of the art of Kendo. This experience allows you to work with a professional kendo instructor who is a black belt in his art and speaks English. From the basic etiquette in Kendo to learning about and using armor, you will be provided an extensive kendo experience that is perfect during your visit to Japan.Swordsmanship, a traditional Japanese martial art, is a skill of the samurai.  More commonly known nowadays as "Kendo,“ or the path of the sword in Japan. This experience allows you to work with a kendo black belt that speaks English. From the basic etiquette of “kendo“ to learning about and using armor, you will be provided a unique kendo experience that is perfect for someone looking to try something new in Japan. Even if you're inexperienced, this tour will allow you to join for an in-depth introduction to kendo with a peace of mind. Samurai etiquette, tranquility of the dojo and the sound of bamboo sword clash... this experience will be unforgettable.

When you arrive to the dojo, you will first wear your samurai armor and be given a brief overview of Samurai. Then, under the watchful eye of the instructor, you will practice striking first without the armor, then with the armor.

After the practice, there will be a demonstration by instructor before playing a combat game.
