We go along Calea Victoriei (Victory Avenue) where lies the Royal Palace, Athenee Palace Hilton Hotel, the Romanian Athenaeum, the National Military Circle and then, the Regina Elisabeta (Queen Elizabeth) Boulevard to see the statue of the Prime Minister Mihail Kogalniceanu – the one to proclaim Romania’s independence during the reign of King Carol, the future King Carol the 1st. We continue up to the Military Academy, then to the Cotroceni Palace – the headquarters of Romania’s Presidency, to Aviatorilor Boulevard up to Elisabeta Palace – the current residency of the royal family and towards the Arch of Triumph, The Romanian Peasant Museum and the Natural Sciences Museum “Grigore Antipa”.
