This is an ultimate Colorado rafting trip! Your guide combines a Bighorn Sheep Canyon run in the morning with a Royal Gorge rafting trip in the afternoon. This 6-hour trip is the perfect full-day whitewater trip for rafters who want to truly experience the rapids of the Royal Gorge. Trip includes a riverside lunch!You will meet your local guide at rafting headquarters before being transported to the water. Then you'll start the morning warming up on the class III Bighorn Sheep Canyon, before running the class IV+ Royal Gorge in the afternoon. A riverside deli-style lunch will certainly hit the spot as you dine at the mouth of the Gorge in the afternoon and enjoy the scenery. Rafters can expect to return back to their departure point around 3pm.
