Enjoy a full-day of sightseeing in Rome. An English speaking driver will offer commentary on landmarks and help customize the tour to your request. Wander around the Roman Forum while learning about what daily life was like in ancient Rome and then linger for a while in Piazza Navona, dotted with eye-popping Bernini fountains, one of the most beautiful public spaces on the planet. Stop for lunch at a local osteria (at own expense) and then explore the Vatican and admire the view from Gianicolo Hill.Your itinerary may be arranged as follows:Pick up 9am at your accommodation, lobby of your hotel or apartment. Then first stop at the Colosseum to admire its magnificence and take few pictures. Following, head to the Circus Maximus; overview of Palatine Hill, the Palace of the Roman Emperors; overview of the Roman Forum and the City Hall.
Then moving towards the center of Rome you will see the Vittoriano Monument - unknown soldier shrine, the Pantheon, Navona Square and its beautiful fountains, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish steps.
Now it is time for lunch in a typical, affordable trattoria for a quick pizza or spaghetti (lunch at your own expense). After lunch the tour continue visiting Saint Peters Square and then the hill of Gianicolo, to admire Rome from its highest hill point and enjoy an artisanal gelato.
The tour end up at your accomodation by 5pm.
