We will lead you to Romania’s most famous cellars, where local experts will demonstrate the art of wine tasting. Day 1. Welcome to Bucharest!
Today we welcome you in Romania! Our licensed guide will pick you up from the Airport and bring you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free.
Day 2. Sparkling red wines and old Manors
Today we start a quest to discover Romania’s most appreciated wines and cellars.
In the morning we visit Snagov Monastery, where it is said Dracula’s body is buried.
After this, we will head towards Dealu Mare where we visit the romantic and picturesque Bellu Manor, a traditional boyar's house.
We will enjoy our first wine tasting at Urlateanu Manor and Cellars nearby.
Later we arrive in Brasov city, where accommodation follows.
Day 3. Delightful Champagne and Royal Castles
In the morning we arrive in Sinaia, where Romania's most beautiful castle lays - Peles Royal Residence.
After this visit, it's time to enjoy a glass or two of sparkling wine by Rhein Cellars in Azuga and learn about the growing process and production of champagne in Romania.
Now, we will arrive in Bran village to discover the famous Dracula Castle, where stayed the mysterious vampire lived.
We end the day in Brasov.
Day 4. Fascinating Saxon cities and strongholds
In the morning, we start our walking tour in Brasov, where we will discover a very beautiful and old city.
Next we arrive in Sibiu, a city designated European Capital of Culture in 2007 and one of Transylvania’s proudest tourists attractions.
In the afternoon we arrive at Jidvei Castle and Cellars, where we will enjoy another great wine tasting and dinner included.
Day 5. Amazing Transylvania and the Carpathians
Today we will discover the medieval town of Sighisoara, the last citadel in Romania still to be inhabited.
Next we cross the Carpathians mountains and reach Red Lake, a beautiful closed lake between coniferous forests, and visit the magnificent Bicaz Canyon.
In the evening we arrive in Piatra Neamt where dinner and accommodation follows.
Day 6. Amazing Monasteries and Moldova’s Best Wine
Today we visit some beautiful orthodox monasteries in the country: Neamt and Agapia.
In the afternoon we will arrive at the famous wine cellar of Cotnari and get to taste Romania's most awarded wine.
We end the day in Lasi, Moldova’s old capital city.
Day 7. Moldavia and traditional folklore
In the morning we will visit the exquisite city of Lasi, once the capital of historical Moldova.
Next we will transit the spectacular Moldova Region and arrive in Ceptura, where the famous Rotenberg cellars serve some of the best red wine in the region.
In the afternoon, we arrive in Bucharest and enjoy a great farewell party with folklore.
Day 8. Amazing Bucharest
Today we will enjoy a guided tour of the Romanian capital and biggest city – Bucharest. A city of paradoxes, with very diverse cultures gathered in one place, and beautiful architecture sometimes hidden in the most unexpected places.
After this, we will drive you to the airport and say goodbye at the end of a great trip!
