Rock Climbing and Canyoneering near Zion National Park

Take your trip to great heights in southern Utah with a 5-hour rock climbing and canyoneering expedition. Guides will take you on a private trip near Zion National Park, customized to suit all comfort and experience levels.Pre-expedition training is a key part of the excursion and your guides will cover important safety and equipment tips. All participants will be instructed in all procedures, as well as thoroughly inspected to ensure that everyone is prepared and safe. Your trip includes expert training, transportation and gear, including helmet, harness, equipment, shoes and wetsuits if required. Learn about safety and equipment, belaying and rappelling, climbing and canyoneering ethics and techniques, all while being looked after by a professional guide.

Your guides will pick you up at your hotel or designated meeting place around Zion National Park, and from there shuttle you to the climbing or canyoneering spot. A half-day trip lasts from 4-5 hours including travel time. Wear layers (jacket, hat etc.) that can be removed as needed depending on the weather, shoes with good tread (bulky hiking boots not recommended). Bring also 1-2 quarts of water per person, snacks and energy bars. There will be a moderate approach or hike to access the canyon or climbing areas. Lastly, enjoy the beautiful views from the top!
