Your tour includes a professional guide and transport.After hotel pickup, you will head to the Corcovado Mountain, driving through the Tijuca forest to visit Rio’s famous Christ the Redeemer statue. You will catch the forest van for the last 1.5 miles (2.5 kilometers) of the trip.
As you ride, your guide will explain the details of the Christ statue and you will spend about 35 to 40 minutes at the top. Then, you will
descend to downtown and explore the main sights there. You will first visit Lapa for 20 minutes including the Selaron Steps, a masterpiece made with tiles.
Then, you will pass by the Carioca Aqueduct and stop at the Metropolitan Cathedral for another 20 minutes. After your visit to the Cathedral, you will go for a walk in downtown, visiting the most famous pastry shop in Rio and the remarkable buildings at Cinelândia square. You can take pictures as you see the Municipal Theater, library, and Council House. Then you will board your vehicle and head to your last stop, the Sugar Loaf mountain. Here, you will spend approximately 1.5 hours.
You will be dropped back at your hotel afterwards.
