After arrival at the beginning of the hike your guide will show you a map of the area and start hiking upwards. There is around a 300-meter climb at the beginning of the hike, then it is more or less flat until the hot springs.
You will be able to enjoy a view of a beautiful waterfall and several boiling hot springs along the way. It is a very colorful area.
After arriving at the hot springs you will get to bathe and relax in the warm water. You will head back after around 1 hour inside the valley for drop-off back to your hotel in Reykjavik, arriving around 2pm.
