First stop of the trip is Christian church of St. Cyprian with the remains of early Byzantine church of Justinian era from the sixth century. Also, we will tour the Museum of Poljica, which discloses the unusually interesting history of this region. The Poljica Republic or duchy was an autonomous community which existed in the late middle Ages and the early modern period in central Dalmatia, near modern-day Omiš, Croatia. It was organized as a "peasants' republic", and it is best known because of the Poljica Statute, first written in 1440.

Our tour continues through the former Republic of Poljica, after short drive, beginning at the church of Saint Jure. This is the place where the Prince of the Republic of Poljica was chosen and you will find out the way it was done. From this place the breathtaking view of river Cetina canyon spreads, which is a protected landscape of Croatia.

Tour continues to Omiš, the beautiful little town situated below the Omiška Dinara Mountain. It is a place of a very rich history. In the middle ages it was called Almissa, and long time before that Illyrians, Romans and Greeks lived here. Croats built the town walls and moved the town nearer to the sea. In the middle Ages, especially during the reign of Duke Kačić, it was a famous pirate haven. Many manifestations celebrating those times are organized today.

Final part is the ride with the boat to place called Radman mills through Cetina River. On its way towards the sea the Cetina River has in the course of centuries cut a magnificent canyon in the surrounding mountains. Roaring thunderously from its source, Cetina´s power moved the wheels of mills, for centuries before flowing peacefully into the sea. The mills were first mentioned as early as the 17th and 18th century, began to flourish in the 19th century when they were renovated by the Radman family. Today Radman mills have been converted into a restaurant and picnic area surrounded by tall trees and ancient mill wheels. A sundial and a calming pool field with river trouts Radman´s mills enable you to capture the essence of the past. We will have traditional lunch and local wine there.
