Experience a Virgin Islands tour unlike any other - without the crowds! Take an adventurous kayak over crystal clear waters, swim with sea turtles in their natural habitat and snorkel over a coral reef for a truly a unique and fun day! This guided tour includes pick up/drop off at your cruise ship port or hotel, lunch at a beach-side restaurant, photos, bottled water and a light snack.Your adventure starts with transportation from your St. Thomas hotel or cruise ship port and takes you with your guide kayaking over crystal clear waters to an amazing location where you will snorkel in two locations - once with sea turtles and once over a beautiful coral reef. This is a small-group tour in order to provide incredible encounters with wildlife and natural beauty. Kayaking distance is approximately 1.5 miles each way (average time is 45 minutes including time for 3 breaks).
Your Eco-guide will provide instructions on kayak paddling techniques, familiarize you with your gear and assist you onto your kayak and out on the water guiding you to a picturesque white sand beach and use of a chaise lounge chair.
After a cold drink and a light snack, your snorkel guide will provide snorkeling gear and give you a short introduction on how to use it (beginner snorkelers welcome). They will then lead you on an exciting adventure swimming with sea turtles. After swimming with the sea turtles, it is time to relax and enjoy a delicious lunch at outdoor restaurant right on the beach. The restaurant has a canopy shaded eating area and many options including vegetarian and gluten free.
After your break, your guide will lead you out to snorkel where you will you will see an abundance of tropical fish over a pristine reef full of colorful corals, sponges and sea fans.
As the tour comes to an end, kayakers will be assisted by their guide back onto the kayaks. The ocean current will help you on the return trip to our base where transportation will be waiting to take you back to your cruise ship or hotel.
The total time of this excursion is approximately 6 hours, including round-trip transportation time. You will have the opportunity to snorkel in two locations for a total time of 1.5 hours (45 minutes each location with a break in between). Departure times are adjustable to meet your cruise ship arrival, based on availability.
