We give you the opportunity to hit most of the important landmarks and attractions of the island accompanied by an experienced guide on this day trip.This sightseeing tour give visitors to Phuket a proper presentation of our island without the hassle of the usual factory local shop when traveling in Thailand. You will be picked up by our guide at your hotel around 11:30am and head towards the old city of Phuket town. We will stop by the local tourism office to present and explain to you the history of the Sino-Portuguese architecture of this beautiful city. We can stop for a quick coffee break in a scenic viewpoint over the city before continue to the next spots.
We will have a lunch break around 1pm (at your own expense). After lunch, we visit the largest and most famous Buddhist temple of the island: Wat Chalong. The main building has 3 stories that you can go through freely as well as side building. Be sure to go up the stairs to see different statues of Buddha on the each level. You will have a great view on the top level, including the Big Buddha on top of the hill nearby.
Next, we make our way to the amazing Phuket Big Buddha marble sculpture. Witness the resident monks pray and bless people almost everyday and walk around the gigantic Buddha structure which is 100% funded by visitors. You might even want to leave your mark by purchasing a small slab of marble and having it mounted on one of the temple's pillar.
Let's cruise by the scenic coastal road on the west bank of Phuket Island. We will also stop by a viewpoint for memorable photos. Around 5:30pm, we arrival at Laem Promthep, the south-western most point of Thailand. You will get the time to take precious snapshots of the amazing sunset at this location. The sunset approximately happen between 5:55pm and 6:20pm all year round in Thailand.
We finish the day with a visit to the local rum factory in Chalong. Their rum is 100% organic and you can try one of their refreshing cocktails here. We will transfer you back to your hotel around 7:30pm after a wonderful day out in Phuket.
