Enjoy Raquette Lake at twilight on a 3-hour narrated dinner cruise aboard an elegant steamboat-style vessel. You have three dinner options: a traditional dinner, the Chef's Special or the Intimate Dinner, which gives you a private table by the window. All options include homemade soup, salad, main course and dessert, and drinks and appetizers are available for purchase. While you eat, enjoy views of the scenic lake lined with grand estate from the Gilded Age.Step back in time to the opulent era of the Gilded Age as you board the W.W. Durant for your Raquette Lake cruise. Enjoy banquet-style seating in the elegant dining room, richly decorated with oak wainscoting and stained glass.
If you like, you may start your evening with an appetizer such as shrimp cocktail, artisan cheese or candied nuts (own expense), and you can purchase wine and specialty drinks from the cash bar. During cocktail hour, head to the open upper deck to admire views of the lake; you can return to the deck during and after dinner to take in different views as the sky gets darker.

Then sit down to a sumptuous 4-course dinner prepared by the onboard chef, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. Each meal is accompanied by coffee and tea.

During the cruise, listen to live narration about the region’s largest lake, which covers a surface area of 5,000 acres (2,023 hectares) including 19 islands. Hear stories about notable New York families like the Carnegie family who once owned Adirondack Great Camps around the lake's 99 miles (159 km) of shoreline.
